This is our first piece featuring bubinga, which is a beautiful deep red hardwood from Africa. Bubinga trees can grow over 100ft tall and up to 3ft to 6ft  in diameter.  This desk measures 5ft by 2.5ft, which is enough room for a monitor or laptop while still leaving plenty of workspace.  The cross bar in the center bows slightly outward to increase leg room. 

It is constructed from a unique, strong mechanical joint on either end that joins the top legs, bottom legs and cross-bar.  It is finished with a tung oil finish and wax for a smooth, satin look.
